STARTUP UPDATE:
We are happy to announce that Saltech Design Labs Private Limited an incubated startup at PDEU IIC has been awarded First Prize in the “Startup Grand Challenge 2022” under Swachh Bharat Mission Grameen by Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Minister of Jal Shakti, in the presence of Hon. President of India in the category of Innovative Efforts in Plastic Waste Management by the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti, GoI.
EVENT UPDATE:
PDEU IIC along with FundEnable and Zone Startups conducted a 3 Day Bootcamp on Pitch Deck and Financial Model Building for 14 incubated startup companies of PDEU IIC. The day 3 hands-on boot camp on Pitch Deck and Financial Model Building was aimed at helping startups build and refine their pitch deck and financial model. The aim was to be investor-ready by the end of Day 3.Â
EVENT UPDATE:
Ms. Shikha Shah, the founder and CEO of AltMat, walked the audience through her experiences of building startups along with sharing her entrepreneurial journey, and lessons learned during the journey and encouraged them to pursue innovation. She shared that sometimes an idea is just not enough, one needs to have the zeal to take it to the next level.
EVENT UPDATE:
Ms. Sejal Purohit, the founder of Seven Spring was invited on National Startup Day to share her entrepreneurial journey. She shared her valuable insights on startups ecosystem of India, how she came up with idea of starting seven springs, common mistakes an entrepreneur makes, and the dos and donts of startup world.
INCUBATOR UPDATE:
PDEU has been rated with 4 Star (Highest) Rating in the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) for the year 2021-22 and 2020-2021 respectively for undertaking various activities prescribed by the Ministry of Education’ Innovation Cell (MIC) to promote Innovation and Start-up in the Campus.
EVENT UPDATE:
PDEU IIC in association with FundEnable organised Capacity Building, Funding, and Investment Program in Bangalore with an aim to get investors on board for 15+ startups. Phase 1 entailed scaling-up training for startups by organising seminar on ‘Capacity Building on Venture Funding’, spearheaded by Mr. Vikrant Potnis. While the Phase 2 of the program was a 2-day entailed insightful programs with seminars, a founder’s talk and startup pitching to entice potential investors.

PDEU IIC was conferred Special Recognition for its contribution in IPR field at IP Hall of Fame Awards 2022, acknowledging exceptional performance in facilitation incubation services.
EVENT UPDATE:
PDEU IIC hosted an ‘Investment team’ for an exclusive Demo day from Gujarat Venture Finance Ltd (GVFL), with an aim to facilitate the growth of our incubatee startups and enable them to upscale their operations, by providing them this platform to pitch their startup and raise requisite funds from the investors.

PDEU was recognized for exhibiting “One of the Best Creative Posters” for showcasing PDEU University’s journey & its Achievements in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Regional Meet of MIC IICs held at EDII for the central and western region of India.
