Description

Post experience of over 30 years in the optical sector, we observed numerous difficulties in the edging process of spectacle glass with conventional methods. Optician and operator, both need to work with and maintain multiple machines to finish the job. Also, more human interface leads to increased chances of error. To overcome this, we aim to incorporate automation in the process and have built an innovative solution that can perform multiple tasks, a glass edger machine called ‘Smart Edger 22’. This CNC machine for spectacle glass performs all the processes for glass edging with minimum human interface and acute precision.
