Design Thinking Workshop by Mr. Amar Gargesh

A two-day workshop on ‘Creative thinking’ facilitated by Prof. Amar Gargesh was organized by PDPU IIC, especially for engineering students. It was conducted to offer the participants an understanding of the role that creative thinking plays in idea generation and how creative thinking might help in your life, when utilized precisely and effectively. The workshop was arranged at PDPU campus.
ITB 360 by Mr. S B Dangayach

ITB 360 is a lecture series where entrepreneurs share and interact about their experience and walk the audience around their journey of success and failures. Experts heralding from different fields were invited to guide them to a befitting path and motivate our students from their expedition. Mr. S.B. Dangayach, the MD of Sintex Industries, was invited in the 3rd series of ITB-360 where he made students aware about simple, smart and sensible innovation in renewable energy. The Idea to Business lecture series was organized at the auditorium of PDPU.
Vibrant Gujarat Start-Up Summit

PDPU IIC had a stall in the exhibition of Vibrant Gujarat Start-up Summit held in Gandhinagar, intending to connect with entrepreneurs, innovators, policymakers, incubators, investors, speakers and the entire entrepreneurship fraternity coming to the event. We organized a workshop on design thinking and also participated in Reverse Pitching where the heads of various incubation centers brief startups about their facilities.
Panel Discussion on Startup Ecosystem Scenario in India at Tesseract 2016

PDPU IIC organized an insightful panel discussion in Tesseract 2016 which invited people from industry as well as academia. The esteemed panelists comprised of experienced mentors and industrialists such as Mr. Anay Mashruwala, Mr. Jatin Kataria, Mr. Ruchit Surati, Mr. Pankaj Bhimani, Mr. Raahil Rupawala and Mr. Kunal Sheth. The discussion entailed about how each of the panelists started their entrepreneurial journey, the challenges faced by them and how they collectively could impact the startup ecosystem. The event was organized on the PDPU campus.
