Assam Skill University(ASU) VISIT 

Students from M.B. Patel Science College visited the PDEU Innovation and Incubation Centre (PDEU IIC) to explore the world of startups and entrepreneurship. The visit included an introduction to the IIC’s mission, followed by a session on "Entrepreneurship as a Career Path," where students learned about the opportunities and challenges of building a business. The students also interacted with startup founders, gaining real-world insights into the entrepreneurial journey. National Startup Day 

Sachidananda B S is a seasoned entrepreneur and academic with a strong foundation in both research and practice. He holds a Ph.D. from IIM Bangalore, where his research focused on the early stages of entrepreneurship, particularly the impact of social interactions on venture building. He also possesses a PGP from IIM Bangalore and a Bachelor's in Computer Science Engineering from NITK Surathkal. With over a decade of experience in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, Sachidananda has actively engaged with entrepreneurs through mentoring, program design, and workshops. His academic rigor is complemented by his hands-on experience, having worked closely with NSRCEL at IIM Bangalore and founded his own ventures. This unique blend of knowledge and experience makes him a valuable asset to the entrepreneurial community.

IIM B Capacity Building session 

The main purpose of the Energy Tank event was to give students a chance to show their innovative ideas for solving industry problems. It was designed to help them learn important skills like planning, negotiating, and problem-solving through a "Shark Tank" style competition. The event also aimed to encourage students to think creatively and come up with practical solutions for the energy industry. It provided opportunities for students to meet and network with experienced entrepreneurs and other students, which could help them with their careers. The event also showcased how the university supports students who want to become entrepreneurs, and it gave students access to mentors and information about starting their own businesses.
