IIT Bhubaneswar Professors Visit to PDEU & PDEU IIC
The visit encompassed a comprehensive introduction to the facilities, resources, and services offered by the IIC. This included an overview of the incubation process, support mechanisms for start-ups, and the overall ecosystem created to foster innovation. The professors had the opportunity to interact with founders and teams of start-ups currently incubated at the centre. These interactions involved learning about their ideas, challenges, and successes, providing valuable insights for both parties.
A guided tour of the incubation centre’s space, including co-working areas and other facilities was organised. This gave the professors a first-hand look at the infrastructure available to support start-ups and innovation activities. The professors met with the staff members and mentors associated with the incubation centre. These discussions provided insights into the roles and responsibilities of those supporting the start-ups and managing the incubation process.
There were discussions about potential collaboration opportunities between IIT Bhubaneswar and PDEU IIC. This included joint research projects, student exchange programs, or partnerships in education and training. At the end of the visit, there was a session for feedback and reflection, where the visiting professors shared their observations, asked questions, and discussed ideas for future collaboration or improvement.
