Technopreneurship: Creating Technology-Enabled Startups and Ecosystem
EDI hosted a two-week training program, sponsored by the Indian Technical and economic operation, during which 23 international students from more than 13 countries were educated on the intricacies of technology-focused startups. This training program familiarised them with the Indian startup ecosystem. In line with this objective, the students visited PDEU IIC. During their visit, they gained valuable insights into the resources, processes and government initiatives specifically tailored for startups and innovations.
Additionally, they had the opportunity to meet the founders of "Cargar" and "Saltech" by which they gained a comprehensive understanding of their products, their impact, challenges and the journey of these startups with the incubation centre.
Furthermore, the students were treated to a concise presentation about PDEU IIC, providing them with an overview of its functioning and the initiatives it encompasses.
