Visit of delegation from Durban University of Technology, South Africa

The delegates, as a part of visit, had an extensive tour of the facility and were introduced to the innovation centre and were made aware of the vision, mission, and goals of the centre. The delegates were informed of the history of how PDEU IIC started, along with the funding it provides, support and infrastructure, mentorship programs, and its achievements and how over the years PDEU IIC has built an ecosystem within an ecosystem for start-ups to thrive.

The delegates had the opportunity to explore the co-working spaces, prototyping lab, and collaborative areas designed to nurture and support startups. During the visit, the South African delegates met with the founders of start-ups and discussed ideas and innovations, and how the products fit well into the needs of both the nations, exploring export opportunities and costing.
